This year continues the exciting tradition of Sing With Your Child Month, sponsored by Music Together® and celebrated around the world! This appreciation month will celebrate the value of family music-making, and will be marked by very special and fun events. In honor of Sing With Your Child Month, Imagination Place will be offering the following free events.  Please invite your friends and family to celebrate with us!

Free Demonstration Classes

Music Together® demo classes are ideal for parents and caregivers who would like to learn more about the Music Together® program. Every class is an introduction to the non-performance oriented program Music Together® (developed at the Center for Music and Young Children at Princeton, New Jersey) and assists children in developing basic music competency during the critical learning period of early childhood. Based on the premise that all children are musical and have an innate ability to learn music, Music Together® is designed to nurture a child’s natural enthusiasm for music and movement.

Lullabies Aren't Just for Leprechauns

At this FREE event, we’ll use sing a‐long Board books, musical instruments and lullabies—new and familiar—to help you bond musically with your children. This parent/child event is appropriate for children ages birthkindergarten. RSVP Required. (Use form on bottom of page or call 801-463-9067.)

Intergenerational Music Together®

Want to volunteer your time WHILE enjoying a Music Together® class? Join us at The Avenues Courtyard (661 East 100 South) and help put smiles on the faces of seniors in our community. Elderly participants will observe and join in just as your children do. This is a great way to start teaching the importance of volunteering to your children at a young age, and you can have fun while doing it! Join us for this free event on March 19th at 1:30 pm. Spring Wing Fling - admission to Tracy Aviary required

For the "Sing With Your Child" month grand finale, Tracy Aviary and Imagination Place have come together to bring you an event unlike anything we have ever done before. Come "Sing With the Birds" in Tracy Aviary's new educational building. Bring family and friends to sing about owls, blackbirds and even play some instruments. Activities also include face painting, crafts, instrument creation and more! Rain or shine, come sing with our feathered friends, for the annual Spring Wing Fling.

"Sing with the birds" will happen March 24th at 11:15 am and 1:15 pm (admission to Tracy Aviary required).
This parent/child event is for all ages. Show is 45 minutes.
